IPG Certification Exams - Michelle recently passed 2 more practical grooming exams with the International Professional Groomers. She is now 2 steps closer to becoming a Certified Master Groomer.
Workshop - Michelle recently attended a workshop to perfect her terrier haircuts before her next certification exams in June. Thank-you to the families of Max the Westie, and Aries the Mini Schnauzer, for allowing me to borrow their dogs for this endeavour.

PetzLife Oral Care Spray: All grooms now include a complimentary application of this product to your dogs teeth. It kills bacteria on contact, removes plaque and tartar and eliminates bad breath. PetzLife sprays and gels are also available for sale at the salon for owners that would like to use the product on a regular basis.

(IPG) Certification
Michelle is pictured with “Skipper” an English Cocker Spaniel owned by Lucinda Glenny of Canine Campus. Michelle is now IPG Certified in the Sporting Breeds.
Stephanie is pictured with “Charlie” a miniature poodle owned by her parents Dan and Lorraine Smyth. Stephanie is now IPG Certified in the Non-Sporting Breeds.
Pet First Aid - Michelle and Stephanie recently travelled to London, Ontario for a Pet First Aid and CPR Workshop. With your pets safety in mind, they are both now certified with the American Red Cross.

Colouring Now Available- Stephanie and Michelle recently attended a special seminar on colouring dogs. Please let us know if you would be interested in this extra service.
Bichon Seminar - The styles on Bichons are ever changing! Stephanie and Michelle both attended a Bichon grooming seminar in April. We strive to keep our knowledge and skills up to date by attending a variety of continuing education events throughout the year.
Poodle Seminar - Michelle attended a poodle grooming seminar on January 20th. This seminar was lead by Pricilla Suddard, who has been actively competing in grooming for over 15 years and was a member of Groom Team Canada in 2005. She is a Certified Master Groomer and is the proud owner of "Cilla's Canine Coiffure" in Oshawa.
Chris Pearson Memorial Trophy- Keira won this award as the highest scoring veteran sighthound at the OLCA field trials over Thanksgiving weekend. Congratulations Keira!!
